North Star sponsors a variety of members-only, password-protected, discussion groups intended to provide a safe and moderated forum. The current number of staple groups (men, women, friends and family, etc) and specialty groups (prospective missionaries, gender identity issues, etc) are based on the stated need and interest of the North Star community.
Northern Lights Blog

Northern Lights, a blog sponsored by North Star, is a public forum where we and our readers can openly explore and discuss topics and issues relating to homosexuality and the Church in an edifying and uplifting manner and within the framework of commitment to the beliefs and ideals of the Church. Unlike the Online Discussion Groups, Northern Lights is a more public forum where anyone can view messages and participate through comments.
North Star Message Boards

Message boards are public, online discussion forums where you can post messages to other readers. Like the Northern Lights blog, membership is not required to read the materials offered on the site, or for access to the Forum as a guest, but like the North Star Online Discussion Groups, posting new messages or responding to posts does require registration and membership.

An important part of our mission is to provide a forum which gives voice to the perspectives, experiences, and testimonies of individual Latter-day Saints — real stories of real people — who are striving to live the gospel in accordance with the doctrines and precepts of the church. If you would like to share a personal essay on how a particular experience or realization has influenced your personal and spiritual growth, your relationship with God, or your commitment to the gospel or the church,
